Below is a selection of FAQs - please take a moment to read these as they may answer any questions you have:
 
How do I register for a press pass?

Please register for your complimentary press pass using the ‘Register' tab above. Alternatively, you can register on site free-of-charge. Please ensure you bring your NUJ identification or business card to ensure free entry.

When will I receive my press pass?

You will receive your unique registration number (URN) within the fortnight prior to the event. When you arrive on site, you will be required to enter this number into the badge registration terminal which will print your press pass.

What does my press pass entitle me to?

Your press pass entitles you to free entry to the show, free access to all the seminar theatres, free access to all the co-located events and use of the Press Office (details TBC).

Can I bring members of the editorial team with me to the show?

All members of the press are welcome to attend the event free-of-charge. If you wish to bring colleagues with you, please ensure they register on the website or on site.
 

Will there be car parking facilities and will it be free-of-charge?

There will be free car parking at the NEC Birmingham for all members of the press.

Where will the press office be?

The press office will be located in room 2.5, hall 2.

Will there be storage space for my luggage/laptop/equipment?

There will not be storage space for anyone wishing to leave any luggage or equipment in the Press Office. However, speak to Martinee Reid upon arrival and she can direct you to the nearest cloakroom.

Will press packs be available in hard copy or electronic format?

Press packs will be available in electronic format on the International Firex website.

Will there be internet access?

There will be free-of-charge wireless internet access in the Press Office.

Will the press office be manned?

The Press Office will be manned at all times by a member of staff.

How do I retrieve official show photos?

Please contact Martinee Reid (PR and Communications Executive) after the event who will be able to source official show photos for you.

Can our publication bring our own photographer to the show?

You are welcome to bring your own photographer to the event. Please register your photographer as press either on the website or on site.

Will filming be permitted at the event?

Filming is permitted at the event. If you wish to film footage of the show, please contact Martinee Reid (020 7921 8067, martinee.reid@ubm.com) who will forward the appropriate form.

What time will the press office close?

The press office opening times are yet to be confirmed.

Who do I contact for comment about the show/industry? 

Martinee Reid (PR & Communications Executive) should be your first port of call. She will put you in touch with the most appropriate person for comment:

When will official visitor figures be available?

Our visitor figures are ABC Audited and will therefore not be available until at least four weeks after the event.
