Biography:

Nick first became involved in the development of watermist systems in the early 1990s following the Kings Cross fire of 1987.

While employed as the technical sales and service manager for Fireater, he was responsible for the initial design, development and installation management of around 600 self contained misting systems all over the London Underground Network.

Nick is member of the FIA Extinguishing Council, and the FIA/BFPSA Watermist Joint Working Group, the BSI FSH/18/2 and FSH/18/3 JWG developing the new British Standards for Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Domestic water mist systems and the CEN TS191 working group developing the European Standard for Watermist TS/EN14972.
