Drax has introduced an online service and control information system designed to deliver maintenance support for fire detection and alarm installations.

The IRIS (Internet Recording Information System) has been made for users to access via a web browser. It is geared towards documenting the maintenance cycle and record information like logging and allocating service.

The software has also been built to give users access to detailed information about service calls, current and completed jobs and recorded site visit history, including electronic dockets with signatures showing who signed onsite acceptances.

“We developed IRIS in response to customer demands for proof of maintenance and the Fire Industry Association’s initiatives to raise safety standards across the industry.”
