A new fire protection company, Ultra Fire Group Ltd, has been formed following a takeover by the Ultra Suppression Group.

The Group, which designs water mist systems as well as other products, has acquired Surefire Systems and Surefire Services.

Ultra and Surefire are to continue operating as separate brands as part of Ultra Fire Group.

Peter Kemp, managing director of Ultra Fire Group, said: “The new operation is an excellent match of skills and technical knowledge which offers benefits to customers, employees and business partners. The integration process is going very well indeed because of the synergies between the companies and people involved.”

Ultra has designed and installed water mist systems in buildings for the past seven years, while Surefire has been trading for about 30 years, providing fire suppression and alarm systems for data centres and other large end users.
