The company has installed Morley-IAS Dimension control panels at Inshes primary school and Inverness Gaelic primary school, while a Morley-IAS ZXSe-based system has been installed in the Drummond School in Inverness.

In all three schools, Bar-Tec has also installed a public address/voice alarm (PAVA) system. “By combining with the school’s period bell and music systems, this provides a highly cost-effective integrated solution,” said Phil Barclay, general manager of Bar-Tec. “At the same time, the high quality voice system ensures that emergency messages are easily understood by students, staff and visitor, enabling a rapid and orderly evacuation.”

Bar-Tec has also recently completed a Morley-IAS DX4-based system at the Medical Centre in Elgin. The company also has the maintenance contracts for the education and healthcare installations.
