Nuaire’s smoke team, (from l-r) Alexander O’Byrne, David Bristoll and Stephen White

The company has established a new department to provide customers with a full in-house smoke ventilation service that will deal with design, costing, installation and aftercare.

Standard and bespoke ventilation systems, for both below and above ground installations, are now available.

David Bristoll is leading the project and heading up the new team. Mr Bristoll has since worked with a number of leading smoke ventilation companies and brings to Nuaire over 27 years of experience in smoke ventilation.

The second member to join the team, Stephen White, will be project engineer, and manage all smoke ventilation projects through to completion.

Alexander O’Byrne, who has an HND in fire and safety engineering and over three years experience at a smoke ventilation company, has been appointed as project design engineer and will be responsible for all above ground projects.

Mr Bristoll, smoke ventilation manager, said: “It has been a whirlwind few months.  Our main aim is to broaden Nuaire’s scope of supply and offer our clients further in-house services.

“We have worked very hard to develop a comprehensive business plan for the new arm of the business and have already exceeded our expectations by meeting many of our key objectives.”
