The new guide is available free of charge

A handy guide to aspirating smoke detection is available free from Wagner UK.

The 20-page guide covers areas such as an introduction to aspirating detection technology, an overview of European standards, and example applications. It also includes an introduction to the company’s Titanus range of aspirating detection products, as well as its OxyReduct fixed fire prevention system.

Wagner UK has launched the guide following the publication last year of the new European standard for aspirating detection systems – EN54-Part 20.

Aspirating detection systems draw air samples continuously from the monitored area through a series of pipes fitted with sampling holes at regular intervals. The airflow is then analysed for smoke particles and an alarm is raised if smoke is present. The systems can be particularly useful in buildings with large open spaces, or in areas that may be difficult to access.

For a free copy of the guide please contact Wagner UK on 0870 333 6116 or E-mail: sales@wagner-uk.com.
