A summary of current environmental legislation and how it affects fire protection companies in England and Wales has been published by the Fire Industry Association.
The FIA’s Factfile No: 36 examines each of the following areas and highlights the relevant legislative instruments and their requirements that impact on fire protection companies: climate change (ODS, F-Gas); sustainable development, (energy-using products, CPD/CPR); integrated pollution prevention and control (waste management, air pollution, water protection and management, soil protection); and chemical products (RoHS, REACH).
