Nittan Cranleigh Gardens Medical Centre The Evolution EV-PS sensor with built-in sounder, in use at Cranleigh Gardens Medical Centre

A new medical centre in Bridgwater, Somerset, has been the first facility to benefit from an installation of Nittan’s newest smoke sensor.

The Evolution EV-PS analogue addressable photoelectric smoke sensor with built in sounder, offers a significant cost saving by not needing a separate sounder base – this also saves installation time.

The brand new Cranleigh Gardens Medical Centre, which offers normal GP services as well as physiotherapy, chiropody, counselling and therapy, wanted a solution that was unobtrusive, one of the reason the EV-PS sensors were chosen, as they have a lower profile than other detectors.

Other features of the new sensors are its ASIC design, EEPROM addressable capability, low monitoring current and a chemically etched stainless steel insect screen to reduce ingress of insects and airborne contaminants.

The EV-PS is compatible with Nittan UB-4-EV and EV-PSBCN bases.
