At the heart of a recent upgrading of the fire detection and alarm system at the O-I glass plant are four Kentec analogue addressable fire alarm panels, 1 Kentec Syncro 2 loop and 3 Kentec Syncro AS Light (1 loop) alarm panels.

The system has been supported by Hochiki's open protocol fire data communications which comprises more than 180 Hochiki devices that include automatic smoke and heat sensors, call points, wall sounders and mains interface I/O modules.

The fire detection and alarm system upgrade was a joint project between supplier, designer and commissioning engineers Fireproducts and Solution Netherlands and installer J.J. Hendriks and zn.
