An investigation into fire safety in tall and timber frame buildings has heard evidence about the role of building regulations, the Fire Safety Order, and construction site management.
The London Assembly's planning and housing committee heard from invited experts including Ron Dobson, commissioner of the London Fire Brigade, Geoff Arnold, chairman of the UK Timber Frame Association, Paul Everall, chief executive of Local Authority Building Control, Sam Webb representing the Royal Institute of British Architects, and Richard Biggs, operations director of the Construction Industry Council.
