A large fire on Tuesday evening at a bed factory in Bradford has been brought under control by around 60 firefighters.
Twelve fire engines including an aerial appliance, and a command unit, responded to the fire at the 60m x 40m two-storey building.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said that around three quarters of the building had been saved. “The rapid response of 12 firefighting appliances and over 60 firefighters from Bradford and Leeds district, including an aerial appliance and the command unit, along with the aggressive firefighting tactics used have resulted in reduced property damage and a swift conclusion to this large building fire.”
