A prestigious gentleman’s club, thought to be Ian Fleming’s inspiration for James Bond’s Blades Club, has been fitted with a kitchen fire suppression system.

Boodles, in Pall Mall, London, contracted Nobel Fire Systems last year to kit out its kitchen with its K-series product.
The systems are electronically controlled, comprising stainless steel cylinders that contain an F class wet chemical liquid which is designed to suppress fire.
Stephen Carter, head chef at Boodles, said, “As one of the country’s leading gentlemen’s clubs we are absolutely passionate about standards, quality and provenance. We care about the physical environment in which our members relax and our staff operate."
