Around 80 people spent the night away from their homes after gas cylinders were found at the scene of a garage fire in Rochdale.
The fire, at Commercial Garage on 17 July, took around three hours for firefighters to put out after the area was cordoned off with a 200m rope.
A number of potentially explosive containers were found, with at least one containing acetylene, Manchester Fire and Rescue Service told info4fire.
Other cylinders were identified as low or non-hazardous once they extinguished and cooled.
The fire was caused by an electrical fault in the building.
