Chubb Fire has won a contract to supply fire extinguishers for a national greetings card retailer's new stores.

The extinguishers will be fitted in all new Card Factory shops and will come with servicing contracts.

Chubb has already fitted two of the company's warehouses with alarm monitoring, fire alarm and extinguishers, and supplied portable fire extinguishers for 10 new stores on a trial basis.

Jane Garland, marketing communications manager for Chubb Fire, said: “Fire protection in any business is imperative, but even more so when protecting members of the public as well as staff.

"The Card Factory’s various premises have a significant amount of flammable material in them, so it is key to use every facet of fire prevention to reduce the risk of incident and Chubb is pleased to be able to help.”
