The company’s FireCell system is believed to be the first such product to be accredited to the EN54-25 standard Fire detection and fire alarm systems: Components using radio links.
The system is designed as a short-range, bi-directional communication link between fire devices and uses ‘smart cluster technology'. This technology incorporates a multi-frequency link designed to eliminate signal blocking and signal collision, says EMS, allowing closely synchronised transmissions with multi path availability.
The certificate was presented to EMS by test house Intertek at this week’s Firex South roadshow.
