Nobel Fire Systems has fitted five of its K-Series fire suppression systems in three kitchen areas of Derby College.

Commissioned by Catering Projects Limited, the solution has been designed to provide protection to all cooking appliances, extract canopies and duct work at the college.
A spokesman for Catering Projects said: “The unique risks inherent in busy kitchens that cater for large numbers of people are more than taken care of by the Nobel K-Series system. We know from the experience of working with the company in the past that protection is to the highest possible standards and that systems can be installed with appreciable savings in both time and cost”.
Derby College provides for around 20,000 full and part time students.
