Fire safety training - it's an app

What is claimed to be the first fire safety training application available on iPhones has been unveiled.

The fire safety app uses illustrations and text to deliver basic fire safety awareness to employees. It is one of the first apps to be developed for the iPhone using Adobe’s new Flash CS5 platform and is available in English, Polish, Spanish and Chinese.

“The Fire Safety iPhone app is an exciting development in the health and safety industry,” said Safety Media managing director, Julian Roberts, “and I hope that we can utilise the technology to develop further health and safety applications in the future."

The app is available to download free of charge from the Apple I-Tunes store.
