Crews battled to save a popular Scottish fish supplier and smokery from a fierce fire last weekend.
George Campbell & Sons Keracher’s factory, in Perth, was well alight by the time firefighters got to the scene shortly before 9am on Sunday.
A cordon was thrown up around the factory and its smokehouse while an aerial platform and heavy rescue unit were deployed to tackle the flames. At its worst, the fire engulfed an area spanning 30 by 100 metres. Nobody was in the factory at the time.
Around 26 firefighters spent nearly two hours battling the blaze and remained on the scene for some time afterward to dampen down hot spots.
It is not known how much damage was caused. An investigation is underway.
