A major blaze at a service station on the M40 has destroyed the roof and gutted the main buildings.
Around 120 firefighters and 15 appliances attended the incident at Cherwell Valley Services, in Oxfordshire last Thursday.
Crews tackled the blaze from 1pm right through to 7pm the next day, evacuating the building and nearby Travelodge hotel.
Drivers were advised to slow down as smoke plumes drifted across the motorway.
An investigation into the cause is ongoing, but the fire is thought to have started in the plant room.
A spokesman from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service told info4fire: “The investigation hasn’t finished yet but there’s no evidence of skulduggery.”
