The company puts its success down to technically advanced products that meet standards and customer needs around the world, with exports growing by more than 300% over the last three years.

“The Queen's Award is a mark of excellence and represents a very important milestone for us on our journey towards our long term goal to be a leading global player in the design and production of intelligent fire detection and safety control systems,” said Ray Hope, the company’s managing director.

“It’s a great source of inspiration for our people and a welcome challenge for us to continually improve on our achievements so far. Everyone at Advanced Electronics is thrilled to be recognised as part of a top UK company. Our highly skilled and dedicated workforce deserves this kind of accolade and I am particularly proud of the fact that we have achieved this status in the highly competitive electronics manufacturing category.”

The award will be presented to Advanced Electronics at International Firex 2011 by Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant.
