FIA reveal 2012 conference programme

The Fire Industry Association (FIA) has revealed the seminar programme for their annual conference which takes place on 15th March, in Warwickshire.

This year’s event, which takes place the day after Firex South in Sandown Park, is focusing on a number of key issues including the reduction of false alarms, and definitions of ‘suitable and sufficient’ in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Continuing with the motoring theme of last year’s event, held at the Williams F1 teams’ base in Oxfordshire, this year the conference is being held at the Heritage Motor Centre, under the title Moving Fire Safety into Top Gear.

Speakers include representatives of West Midlands Fire and Rescue service, and Prysmian.
