A fire that burned through eight temporary buildings on the site of a food factory started in an air conditioning unit, it has been discovered.
The fire, at Pinguin Food factory on Lynn’s Hardwick Industrial Estate, took around 50 firefighters to extinguish.
The buildings were evacuated by around 100 workers who were using them as offices, local paper Lynn News reported.
A total of nine fire engines with four main jets were used to put out the fire, which started just before 4pm on 28 June.
Firefighters had extinguished the fire by 6pm.
