Intrinsically safe and explosion proof manual call points, certified to both ATEX and IECEx standards, have been launched by E2S.

The IS-CP4 intrinsically safe units are approved for use in Zones 0, 1 and 2 environments and the BExCP3 Ex e d explosion proof versions for zones 1 and 2. Both types are available with either break glass or push button operation.

The devices are manufactured from corrosion proof, copper free, marine grade LM6 alloy and are sealed to IP66, enabling them to be used in both offshore and onshore installations, says the company.

A range of standard accessories and options is available. The call points can be fitted with a stainless steel lift flap, and series and EOL resistors in a range of different values can be fitted as required. They can also be fitted with stainless tag and duty labels.

Available in red powder coat finish, special colours can be specified to enable help visual identification of special functions.
