Elite Fire Safety (EFS) has installed Detectomat’s SRC 3000 radio-linked wireless solution to a Victorian apartment block in Barons Court, London.

Charlesville Mansions, which is in a conservation area, has been fitted with the wireless system in order to minimise damage to the fabric of the building.

The wireless solution transmits data by radio frequency and being wire free, not only avoids damage to walls and ceilings, says Detectomat, but also saves costs.

Kent-based EFS installed alarms into each of the five separate entrances of the building – with coverage of common parts such as stairwells and supply cupboards – on behalf of management company, Douglas and Gordon.
