Two new multi-sensor detectors with dual optical technology have been launched by Nittan.
The EV-DPH-A1R also incorporates an A1R (54OC) heat detector and the EV-DPH-CS a CS (90OC) heat detector. As such, the units are capable of monitoring two different by-products of a fire – smoke and heat – so, says Nittan, the response to all fire types is significantly improved when compared with single sensor type units.
Both sensors are suitable for areas where risks are undetermined or variable, or where false alarms may be a particular problem, explains the company. The EV-DPH-CS is particularly suited to areas with a high ambient temperature.
Approved to EN54-5:2000 + A1:2002 and EN54-7:200 + A1:2002 + A2:2006, the EV-DPH-A1R and EV-DPH-CS multi sensors are the latest additions to Nittan’s Evolution range of analogue addressable products.
