The Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) has published best practice techniques for the repair and maintenance of industrial, commercial and fire resisting doors and shutters. The guide is one of a number of codes of practice and good practice guides from the DHF designed to enhance standards set by the door industry. Michael Skelding, general manager and secretary of the DHF, said: “The need for building owners and managers to implement regular service and maintenance procedures to keep within the law is clear. “However there is an important bottom line advantage as well.
