The fire alarm system is installed in the Namco gaming centre

A £4m interactive gaming centre in Newcastle’s Gateshead shopping centre – the Namco Fun Station – has been fitted with a fire detection and alarm system using C-Tec’s XFP analogue addressable fire alarm panel.

Installation company Solid State installed a 2-loop 32-zone XFP fire alarm control panel which uses over 200 Apollo XP95 detectors and C-TEC-manufactured loop powered sounders and beacons.

The 3500m2 also houses a bowling alley, restaurant and even a dodgem car track.

Two of C-TEC’s NC951 disabled persons toilet alarms, as well as a 48-speaker voice alarm system, is also in operation at the site.
