A heat sensing cable designed for use in harsh environments will be demonstrated at Firex North later this month.
Cables Britain is to showcase its Listec addressable heat sensor cable at the fire safety show from 27 to 28 October, in Manchester.
The sensor cable has been designed to monitor a protected area between -40º to +85 ºC with a resolution of 0.1º.
The system also has a freely adjustable rate of rise feature made to provide a rapid early warning response for under and over alarm temperature conditions.
The temperature sensors have been moulded within the cable and can be addressed after the cable has been installed.
