Bosch Security Systems is showcasing its voice alarm technology and a range of loudspeakers this week at International Firex.
Among the products on show is the comapny's Praesideo technology, and the Plena Easy Line, a new public address system designed for public address and background music applications.
Speaking last week, Paul Wong, managing director of Bosch Security Systems, said that the company would particularly focus on the importance of EN54 compliance as central to the development of future solutions:
“Bosch is at the forefront of innovation,” he said, “and today we can offer fully integrated EN54 certified fire alarm and voice evacuation solutions for virtually every application.”
Plena Easy Line has been designed for public address and background music applications. It includes two- and one-zone mixer amplifiers, a mixer unit, ‘power amplifiers’, an ‘all-call’ station, a two-zone call station and a wall panel.
“Through these extensions to the Plena public address system, Bosch is able to offer fully-featured public address and voice alarm solutions for cost-sensitive markets such as small retail and leisure applications, office buildings, light industry and public sector environments,” Wong said.
Bosch claims that Praesideo is the world’s first fully digital public address and emergency sound system. More than 5,000 of the systems have been installed across the world. “The quality and reliability of Praesideo has set the benchmark for the evacuation market from the time it was introduced and will continue to do so with the new certification.”
A range of loudspeakers is also on stand. For more information, go to hall 3, stand A80.
