A fire that ripped through an industrial unit in Carlisle has left parts of the building gutted.
It was thought to have started at a repair garage in the six-unit building. Crews were called just after 9am on 24 May. Initially, two appliances were used but later firefighters called for a further two pumps and an aerial appliance to battle the blaze.
Watch manager at Carlisle fire and rescue service, Jeff Pears, said: “It was fairly intensive and well alight by the time we got there.”
Most of the fire was out by 2pm but crews returned in the evening to check hotspots.
