BAFE publishes emergency lighting installation scheme

11 October 2010

BAFE has published a final version of its emergency lighting design, installation, commissioning and maintenance scheme.

Available to download from its newly launched website, Emergency Lighting scheme SP203-4 has been designed for  companies aiming to receive third party certification to prove their competence.

It is now being assessed by third party certification bodies for introduction into their schemes portfolio.

The scheme has been incorporated within the SP203 series which already offers two system application modules, SP203-1: Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and SP203-3: Fixed Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems.

A formal launch event is to take place later this year in co-operation with the Industrial Council for Emergency Lighting.

To download, visit BAFE’s page here or visit the stand at Firex North.
