The firm’s new PVC range, with seven different styles, has options such as ‘stylish semi-circles’, that aim to provide a more subtle appearance for drops to break glass points.
D-Line said the choice reflected needs in the market. “It meets the growing demand from fire cable installers for a different option to traditional square-box trunking, which is unfashionable and does not blend in with contemporary décor.”
The F-clip, which the company says offers compliance with BS 5839 Part 1, can hold two 1.5mm two-core fire performance cables, and can also be put in different locations within the trunking base before being permanently fixed. D-Line said that this helped the product meet cable manufacturers’ requirements of fixings being at 300mm intervals for horizontal runs and 400mm for vertical drops
