Up-to-date information about developments in built-in fire protection will be provided to individuals as part of a new ‘affiliate’ membership being introduced by the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP).

Membership will entitle individuals to access information on fire legislation, the ASFP specialist website, its e-bulletin, discounts on seminars and workshops and preferential rates for ASFP training courses and publications.

Affiliate members will also be able to access advice from the association’s technical officer, meet and network with full ASFP company members and comment on consultative documents.

The ASFP, originally formed in 1975, represents major UK based product manufacturers, as well as installers of specialist passive fire protection products and associate members representing regulatory, certification, testing and consulting bodies.
