Hochiki fire detection and alarm equipment has been installed at the new 64-bedroom Hatchmoor nursing home in Great Torrington, North Devon.
It is currently home to approximately 50 residents, who are protected by Hochiki’s ESP (Enhanced System Protocol) analogue addressable sensors, call points and sounders.
The design, installation and commissioning of the system was undertaken by BAFE SP203 accredited Challenge Alarm Services of Barnstable.
The ESP sensors feature full digital transmission and incorporate Hochiki’s Checksum error checking to help safeguard the integrity of data. They also have a suite of false alarm management tools which enables each sensor at the nursing home to be recalibrated every 24 hours.
