Considering that a person or persons lifes depend on strict adherence to the Fire Regs the fines imposed are far to low. What is the point in setting fines for serious breaches of the F R low when the aim is to deter bad and dangerous practises, it's flawed logic.
The other matter to consider is the morale of the Fire Brigade who risk their lives daily and read with shock of the poultry fines dished out by people who have never experienced putting their lives in danger as an occupation.
