Aico has launched an iPhone app covering information about fitting fire, smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms.
Called Handyfacts, the application has links from the contents page to relevant sections, an email enquiry facility and a link to Aico's website.
The app also covers which alarm types to use in different areas of a property, offering diagrams and details on wiring and accessories.
Michael Wright, Aico product manager said: “Traditionally this information has been imparted in print, but with more contractors now using electronic mediums to source information than ever before, we have committed to offering customers a real choice in how they access information.”
Handyfacts is available from the iTunes store free of charge.
