Visitors to International Firex can view the latest fire safety products by Dutch company AFG Flameguard.
Among the products on stand at the NEC Birmingham from 16-19 May is a solution for preventing the spread of wildfires.
John Maxfield, director of AFG Flameguard, said: “There have been a huge number of wildfires in the UK recently. They cause immense damage to property and livelihoods and are very expensive to tackle because often the only means of dealing with them is by beating the flames.
"Our solution creates a fire barrier that prevents the fire from spreading. It is in use in the Middle East, Russia and North America and is currently on trial in Australia and Greece.”
Following a deal with DSPA.uk, AFG Flameguard’s products will now all be available in the U.K.
“The International Firex Show is the ideal opportunity for the launch,” Mr Maxfield said.
“We introduced the DSPA range of Aerosol Generators at the International Firex in 2009 and it was a great success. This time our stand will be much bigger with our full range of products on display.”
Other AFG brands on show at the NEC include; Flameguard intumescent paints and coatings: SEAC passive fire products: Supernova emergency signs and Intertec accredited fire risk assessments.
The DSPA product range of condensed aerosol generators will also be at the NEC.
“For a long time now we have been looking for the right opportunity to enter the UK marketplace,” Frans Vogelzangs, CEO of the AFG Group, said. “The UK is a very big market and I am sure that our innovative products will provide quality solutions for all fire related issues.”
