Intumescent coatings manufacturer Leighs Paints has signed a contract for the installation of a Morley-IAS fire alarm system at its manufacturing site in Bolton.

The system, to be installed by Cook Fire, will incorporate two ZX5Se fire alarm control panels, as part of an L1 category installation, which includes several intrinsically safe areas in the main production area. The system also includes audible and visible indicators.

John Shaw of Cook Fire said: “Morley-IAS equipment has been deployed in many similar manufacturing environments, as it provides the ideal combination of robustness and flexibility which is ideally suited to tough and high risk production arenas.”
