Property maintenance company Integral's fire division has been accredited to the BAFE SP101 scheme for fire equipment maintenance, incorporating the ST104 technician scheme.

Carl Redfern, national operations manager for Integral's fire division, said that BAFE-accreditation would give customers peace of mind that they were receiving the best service. "You can test equipment as much as you like, but until an incident actually occurs you have no idea whether or not the equipment you have paid for will do the job of protecting property and human life," he said. "However, one way people can be sure their fire equipment is installed and maintained to the highest possible standard is by choosing a BAFE-accredited company like Integral and its fire division."
