Rules of entry

• The set word limits must be adhered to
• An organisation or individual may enter more than one category, but an entry form must be submitted for each one
• Employees of UBM Information Ltd and their families are not entitled to enter
• Entries from sponsors of an award category will not be considered in that same category
• Once an entry is judged for inclusion in the shortlist, the entry cannot be withdrawn from the competition
• Winners and finalists may state in advertising and promotional material that they are a winner/finalist, but must make it clear for which category and year they were successful
• The independent judging panel will be drawn from a cross section of the fire industry and fire safety community and will mark each entry against specific criteria. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into before or after the judging has taken place
