Ian Stewart
Ian Stewart joined BRE Global in 2008 as Passive Installer Scheme manager.  In the last three years he has developed and expanded the passive installer schemes, maintaining high technical standards. There are currently over thirty LPCB LPS1531 passive installer approved companies listed in the LPCB Red Book. He has undertaken site technical audits and inspection of all forms of Passive Fire protection installations. He graduated from Liverpool University with an Honours degree in Chemistry.  He started out in the manufacture, then development of corrosion protective coatings. He has been involved in the field of passive fire protection for 29 years. He has been involved in all sectors of construction from commercial to petrochemical to residential. Working for a major passive fire protection contractor for three years and working in technical sales and specification for several major passive fire protection product manufacturers.
