 Draeger Learning Zone

Professional and personal development are key aspects of the modern UK fire and rescue service and the Draeger Learning Zone will provide fire service personnel with free opportunities to hear seminars and presentations relating to their current duties.

 

The seminars will concentrate on key areas including environmental change, road safety, product innovations, medical trauma care and fire safety legislation.

 

 FCEL Best Practice Area *new for 2010*

The FCEL Best Practice Area will showcase the UK’s fire and rescue services most innovative and successful projects and initiatives, visitors will also have the opportunity to meet with leading project advocates from the nation’s brigades.

 

The following brigades are exhibiting in the Best Practice Area: North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Humberside, Merseyside, Lancashire, Shropshire, Hertfordshire and Hampshire. In addition CFOA will be exhibiting and presenting CFOA National Resilience. 

 

A full timetable of demonstrations and presentations will be issued shortly in what promises to be the most comprehensive display of best practice in the UK fire and rescue service.

 

 FIRESA Pavilion

A brand new development for FIRE & RESCUE 2010, this feature will provide suppliers to the fire service with an opportunity to network with members and provide exclusive product demonstrations in the fully equipped demonstration zone.

 

 FIRE & RESCUE 2010 Conference

Hosted by the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA), the Fire Protection Association (FPA) and the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) the Fire & Rescue Conference is the UK's main opportunity for senior officers and leading figures to come together to discuss the future strategy and direction of the fire and rescue service.

 

Over 300 delegates attend this event representing the highest calibre of decision makers in the UK fire and rescue service. Delegates have exhibition visiting time built in to the conference programme and will take their refreshments in the exhibition hall.
